![]() This will sound an alarm that ends with the phrase “Sector G”. Extraction is in sector G, and requires that you restore power to the elevator by flipping a switch in basement room G1. This all means you can’t just run to an extraction like on most maps, you have to be constantly ready to fight Scavs, you’re always competing with other players, and half the time you’re giving away your location when you activate an extraction. Also as a note: the announcements made when an extraction is activated are in Russian, but they end with an English phrase that you can recognize easily even if you don’t speak Russian. Finally, most of these extraction points have a chance of spawning Scav Raiders in the area and having them move towards the activation trigger. In addition, most extractions require some kind of action to be made available, and a loud announcement will be made whenever these are opened. You can’t do scav runs on labs so all the extractions are PMC only. ⦁ Sewer Manhole: Always open, requires that you aren’t wearing a backpack. ⦁ Scavs Lands: Always open, but requires both a PMC and a scav to extract at the same time. ⦁ Bunker Hermetic Door: This extraction needs to be manually activated elsewhere before it can be used, and its only good for four minutes after activating. It honks twice when it arrives, and honks once one minute before taking off. ⦁ Armored Train: Single-use, the train arrives sometime between 25 and 35 minutes into the raid, and stays for 7 minutes. ⦁ Hole In The Fence By The Mountains: Always open The Paracord for this doesn’t need to be in a bag or backpack, keeping it in your secure container is good enough. ⦁ Cliff Descent: Always open, but you need to have a Red Rebel Ice Pick in your melee slot and Paracord in your inventory, as well as not having an armored vest on. ⦁ ZB-014: Green flares when open, but still requires the ZB-014 Key Reserve Extraction Points ⦁ South V-Ex: single-use, 3k Roubles per player and a max of 4 players ⦁ RUAF Roadblock: Greenflares when it’s open ⦁ Factory Gate: always open, but requires both a scav and a PMC to extract at the same time. ⦁ Ruined Road: Always open, and adjacent to the “tunnel” PMC extraction. ⦁ Tunnel: Always open, this is adjacent to the scav “ruined road” Extraction, be careful ⦁ Rock Passage: Green flares when it is open ⦁ CCP Temporary: Searchlight on when open ⦁ Scav Camp: always available, but requires both a Scav and a PMC to extract at the same time. ⦁ Railway Exfil: Always available, also referred to as the North-West exit ⦁ Emercom Checkpoint: always available, also referred to as the South-East exit The power station switch needs to be on, then you must flush the toilet in Burger Spot, and use the Object 11SR Keycard. ⦁ Saferoom Exfil: Always available, but single-use. ⦁ Power Station: Single-Use and costs 3k Roubles per player, fitting a max of 4 players ⦁ Hole in Fence: Always open but requires you not to have a backpack equipped ⦁ RUAF Roadblock: open if the spotlight is on Factory Extraction Pointsįactory is a small map with few extractions, Gate 3 is almost guaranteed to be available but especially as a Scav you should double-check if you have Office Window or not. ⦁ Old Gas Station: will have a green flare in the parking lot if open ⦁ Trailer Park Workers’ Shack: Always open ⦁ Dorms V-Ex: Single-use, requires 7K Roubles per player and fits up to 4 players This article was updated on the 15th of December 2021 by Kelsey Raynor, with contributions from Julian Sims.⦁ Smuggler’s Boat: Campfire will be lit if open On the other hand, if you're used to navigating Tarkov, check out our weapons tier list. However, because of this, players will often camp the areas too. These are keen points of interest for players due to the fact that they typically have some decent loot to collect. The three areas that tend to interest players the most are as follows: The map features a lumber yard, a sawmill, a plane crash site, various abandoned bunkers, and even an abandoned tank, too. ![]() ![]() Photo by graemeandginbooyahĬoin shot using a DSLR camera with a reverse 50mm prime lens This technique works with prime lenses of any size, but the 50mm is thought by many to create the best results. When you reverse the lens, the opposite happens, and the image is magnified to near life-size. In standard photography, a 50mm lens focuses the light from far away, making the image smaller so it can be captured by a digital sensor. The reverse lens technique works because of the way a 50mm prime lens operates. Reversing rings are widely available wherever camera accessories are sold, for less than the cost of a pizza. If you have a steady hand you can “free lens,” or simply hold the lens against the camera to shoot if you want more stability or a more permanent setup, you can purchase a specially made threaded adaptor called a reversing ring, which holds the reversed lens to the camera. The reverse lens technique is exactly what it sounds like: you remove your 50mm lens from the camera and turn it around so that the front side of the lens, which usually faces the subject, is facing the camera. If you own a 50mm fixed focal length or “prime” lens, you have the basics of a macro photography setup. Starting with the most affordable options, here are some ideas for making your DSLR camera a macro machine. You can use the lenses you already have, you can add equipment that expands the capability of your existing lenses, or you can buy dedicated lenses that are made specifically for macro photography.Īll of them work and they can all produce excellent images, so the choice depends on your budget, your level of experience, and the quality of images that you need to produce. If you have a DSLR (digital single-lens reflex) camera, your macro photography options increase exponentially. Photo by graemeandginbooyahīutterfly shot with a point-and-shoot on macro setting Option #2: DSLR Cameras It’s a no-cost way of finding out whether macro photography is for you, and you’ll get some great shots along the way. It can give you the chance to explore the possibilities of recording very small and detailed subjects without making any investment in equipment or mastering new techniques. If you’re just starting to consider branching into macro photography, a point-and-shoot camera in macro mode can be an excellent way to begin. The upside of this is that it’s a no-cost, no-hassle way to take outstanding macro and close-up photographs, requiring absolutely zero investment in additional equipment the downside is that the photos won’t have the same level of precision, detail, magnification, and quality as those shot with a DSLR camera and a dedicated macro lens. In a point-and-shoot digital camera, choosing the macro mode makes the lens elements automatically adjust for close focusing. Option #1: Point-and-Shoot Digital Cameras The overwhelming majority of digital cameras, from point-and-shoot models to DSLRs, have a selectable macro mode that can be accessed either via an external control or through the viewfinder menu. ![]() If you own a digital camera, you can actually start doing macro photography with no additional equipment whatsoever. Like many aspects of digital imaging, macro photography can be as simple and affordable or as complexicated and expensive as you care to make it. The Equipment You Need For Macro Photography Even the tiny hairs on the leaf are visible. The main difference in the images produced is the degree of magnification and the degree of fine detail that can be captured.Ī close-up photograph with a non-macro lens will make small subjects larger, but a macro lens will dramatically increase the degree of magnification and make even the most minuscule details visible. ![]() Photo by graemeandginbooyahĪirborne seed pod shot with a DSLR camera with a 60mm macro lensĬlose-up photography is similar to macro photography in that it makes small objects look large, but it’s done by photographing objects at a very close range with a standard, non-macro lens. True macro photography is done using a dedicated macro (for Canon products) or micro (for Nikon products) lens, which has the capability of achieving at least a 1:1 magnification. The terms macro and micro are both commonly used in this aspect of photography, and though the literal meanings are opposite (micro means small and macro means large), they both refer to the same thing: making a small object look big. Once impractical for many because it required a substantial investment in equipment, macro photography is now accessible to everyone who owns a DSLR or even a digital point-and-shoot camera. Macro photography, or taking larger-than-life-size pictures of very small subjects, is a fascinating, absorbing branch of photography through which you can explore the details of the world around you (and come up with some fantastic images in the process). By Apple’s standards, this is peanuts, and the product is largely irrelevant to the vast majority of people watching the keynote. A TrendForce report last week predicted that Apple’s headset will initially be targeted at developers, not consumers, and that this year’s shipments are likely to fall short of 100,000 units. The problem is that, for now, it’s niche. Reality Pro is certainly an interesting prospect to me, given that it’s an entirely new product line that could eventually be more important to Apple’s fortunes than the iPhone. Instead, the highlights of WWDC 2023 are likely to sit in two categories: the mixed reality headset, and watchOS 10. “The chirping crickets just gave way to the sad trombone.” “Our macOS 14 news hub has nothing,” he laments. ![]() But macOS itself–remember this is supposed to be a software event–appears to be headed for a dull June, so much so that my colleague has wondered if Apple cares about macOS anymore. On the hardware side, there’s the possibility of new Macs, such as a 15-inch MacBook Air and a Mac Pro (finally). But most pundits agree that this is going to be a quiet update with no “tentpole improvement.” It’ll be about fixing bugs and improving reliability, with a few “nice to have” new features chucked in as a bonus. iOS 17 is expected to include a raft of new features, including a clever smart display function and, very likely, the momentous ability to install apps from third-party stores without jailbreaking. If you want your app to look like a real Windows application, it is recommended to use Microsoft’s Fluent Design Language. The installer will look like this (the language depends on your system language): Example of the installation routine of a MSIX package Use Fluent Design Language See the image below for a small example: Configuration for MSIX packages in pubspec.yaml All available arguments can be found in the documentation of the MSIX package. Building MSIX packages requires the MSIX package. Therefore, they are much better suited if you want to distribute your app. MSIX packages provide install and uninstall routines and contain everything needed to run the app. Output files after executing the build command Building MSIX packages If you want to distribute the app, make sure to include the required data as well. The app is not self-contained, meaning it depends on the data folder and the DLL file. The created files including the application will be put in the subfolder build\windows\runner\Release. To create an executable file for your Flutter project you need to run the command flutter build windows. Flutter doctor output after upgrading to Flutter 2.10 Building executables If you don’t know your current configuration, call the flutter doctor command and check the results. Of course, this is only possible if you already have installed an older version of the Flutter SDK on your system. Or just use the command-line tool of your choice and execute flutter upgrade.
